IS THERE A RIGHT WAY AND A WRONG WAY TO INTERPRET YOUR DANCE?

Technically, there are ways to do movements that protect your body and ways that could harm your body so there is some right and wrong here. And there's right and wrong if you do not understand the form and what your vocabulary is. (Although if you stay present, these wrongs could just be beautiful choreographic variations.)

But in view of interpretation, there are many ways to do a movement, as there are many ways to be. The only wrong way is when you don't back your movement or vocabulary with your honest state of being. Say the movement is a GOLPE in flamenco, if you are angry, your golpe may have an angry feel to it. If you are content, the golpe will be more content. Both are interesting! But, say you are angry and pretend to be content... it'll never work!
ACKNOWLEDGE AND WORK WITH YOUR ACTUAL STATE. Starting with honesty, you will probably open the door to many other emotions and states of being.
